PROJECT / ROLI

We were contacted by the amazing team at ROLI to help them create visuals and the presentation for their new Limitless hybrid synthesizer Equator2.

The project concentrated mostly on R&D on shapes, simulations and different environments that could home the UI and with movement explain the different modules and engines the synth has to offer.

ENVIRONMENTS.

We designed a variety of environments, partly in World Creator or directly in C4D. We then used the resulting displacement textures in Octane / Redshift mixing them with some Quixel textures.
Here are a few examples of textures, lights, and different proposals of environments.

Some environments, gone but not forgotten!

SHAPES.

We worked on the concept of an always morphing shape, visualizing different engines and ideas connected to the hybrid synthesizer.
We utilized C4D together with Xparticles and Houdini for these simulations.

UI VISUALIZATION.

Aside from all the 3D environments and shapes of course the main focus of the clip was to show the new Equator2 synth. we tried different options that could fit transitions and show the strong assets the hybrid synth proposes showing UI changes, effects and modules in creative ways inside our 3D scenarios.

R&D.

During production we tried to visualize the 6 engines and sections with flat backgrounds and growths as well as UI’s as modular elements of the 3D designs.
